CONTROL: "The 4 C's"

The key word is CONTROL. When we speak, we want to feel that we are in complete control of our experience, saying exactly what we want to say in the way we want to say it.

Here are John's 4 C's of CONTROL:

1. CLEAR: Being heard and understood

2. CONCISE: Saying only what you want to say, without fillers words or redundancies

3. COMPELLING: How you use the words you choose. Through poetic use of language, you can both express yourself fully and command an audience.

4. CONFIDENT: Confidence can be learned, PRESENCE can be acquired. By winning the battles of the mind, and through physical awareness, you can find comfort in the discomfort of speaking in public, and turn a potential weakness into one of your greatest strengths.
